Beating the bullies
A Bullying Awareness Day was recently organised by groups and parents in Savile Town, Dewsbury, to highlight bullying and its detrimental effects on children.
More than 60 children took part in self-defence sessions, group discussions and relaxation sessions (to tackle stress).
Children also took part in an art session with the winner of the best design landing a year’s membership of a self-defence class.
