Well done Yorks Water
As a resident of Earlsheaton, I support this statement fully as I appreciate the concerns residents have had about the inappropriate routes heavy vehicles currently take, therefore reducing the quality of life for many.
The approval of this application would remove the high levels of heavy traffic and noise generated whilst diverting traffic through the industrial area which can accommodate these types of vehicles.

Hide AdAs the Deputy Mayor was so keen to point out in his leaflet, objections from a number of councillors had been tabled regarding safety concerns relating to a primary school close to the new proposed route.
After contacting Yorkshire Water this week, I believe they have done all that is reasonably expected of them with regards to engaging with the primary school and allaying their fears and can only be commended for their thorough consultation process. I believe they have listened to concerns and that this was a major reason behind the revising of the initial plan.
If more planning applications went through this type of consultation, residents would feel their voices were being heard. This is something Ib am very keen to see happen.
