The festival will return on March 18-28 this year, with the theme of ‘Escape’ and an exciting mix of outdoor and online events – followed by a programme of indoor events later in the year.
To be in with a chance of winning people must make a donation to the festival’s Local Giving page by Sunday, January 31.

Hide AdThe donation will be doubled through the ‘Match It’ funding programme run by the local One Community Foundation, with all proceeds going towards festival events.
Michelle Hodgson, director of the literature festival, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds for the festival.
“Covid-19 meant that we had to cancel all our live events last March and we have been affected again with the recent lockdown rules – but we are determined to bring the best of literature to our supporters in West Yorkshire.”
