Video: Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher visits Dewsbury care home residents
The appeal was set up by Huddersfield businesswoman Stacey Crowther who was struck by the plight of some of the people she met in Yorkshire care homes.
Last year she decided to do what she could to change that by collecting Christmas gifts for elderly people who would otherwise receive no presents.

“We are delighted that Kelvin Fletcher could join us to deliver gifts this year.”
Mr Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden in the ITV soap, visited Ashworth Grange care home in Dewsbury last week.
The home is run by LNT Group, which donated 160 presents to the appeal.
